This Show is sanctioned with:

RULES
No free linearts
At lest 3'4 of horse and rider must be showing
Horses must be older than 3 years
Riders must be older than 18 years
No reused entries

CLASSES
Picture backgrounds are. You may enter each class as many times as you want but you cannot enter one horse more than once in a class. Some info provided by crazykate1.

Western Pleasure
Horses will be ridden on the rail performing the walk, jog, and lope. A collected frame is desired. The horse will be judged in this class. Tack includes a western show saddle, a matching one-ear, double-ear, or browband bridle, and curb bit. PLEASE ride one-handed and use romal reins or split reins. Young horses (3 and 4 year olds ONLY) may be ridden two-handed in a snaffle bit or bosal hackamore with split reins ONLY. Breastplates are optional. Boots, wraps, and martingales are prohibited. Manes and tails should be left loose. Rider attire includes a patterned western show shirt, black show pants, chaps, western show boots, black gloves, and a western hat. Spurs are optional. Hair should be in a bun at the nape of the neck. Will be held in the outdoor arena.

Reining
Horses will perform a reining pattern, mainly at the lope. Spins, sliding stops, circles, and flying leads changes are to be expected. A collected frame is desired, as well as smooth cues. Tack includes a western show saddle, a matching one-ear, double-ear, or browband bridle, and curb bit with split reins. PLEASE ride one-handed. Young horses (3 and 4 year olds ONLY) may be ridden two-handed in a snaffle bit. Breastplates are optional. Martingales are prohibited. Manes and tails should be left loose. Rider attire includes a patterned western show shirt, black show pants, chaps, western show boots, and a western hat. Spurs are optional. Hair should be in a bun at the nape of the neck. Will be held in the indoor arena.

Cutting
Horses must seperate a calf from a small herd. There is no specified calf to separate. You will be judged on tack, attire, and how long the calf is kept separate from its herd. Horses must wear a western show saddle, a matching one-ear, double-ear, or browband bridle, and curb bit. Rider attire includes a western show shirt, black show pants, chaps, western show boots, black gloves, and a western hat. Will be held in the indoor arena.

Barrel Racing
Horses will gallop around 3 barrels at the gallop. (classic red, white, and blue barrels) This class will be judged on tack, attire, and time. A random generator (random.org) will be used to find who has the shortest time. Tack includes a western show saddle, a matching one-ear, double-ear, or browband bridle, and curb bit. Beastplates are optional. Boots are not allowed, but wraps and martingales are allowed. Rider attire includes a western show shirt, black show pants, western show boots, and a western hat. Spurs are optional. Hair can be left loose. Will be held in the outdoor arena.

Halter
Horses will be shown in hand with a western halter. (Arabians may wear their breed halter.) You will be judged on correct tack, confirmation, and attire. Smooth gaits are desired. Manes should be braided but tails should be left loose. It will be divided into the following: Mares, Stallions, Foals. Rider attire includes a western show shirt, black show pants, western show boots, and a western hat. Will be held in the indoor arena.

Pole Bending
Horses must weave through 6 poles at fast as they can in this pattern You will be judged on attire, tack, and speed. A random generator (random.org) will used to decide who had a faster time. Horses must wear a western show saddle, a one-ear, double-ear, or browband bridle and curb bit. Rider attire includes a western show shirt, black show pants, western show boots, and a western hat. Spurs are optional. Will be held in indoor arena.


JUDGING METHOD
+20 - accuracy of tack, horse, rider attire, etc.
+15 - frame and movement
+10 - effort compared to gallery
+10 - following rules
+5 - aesthetic appeal (how it looks)
+5 - random number generator (placings and chances of spooking)
